I've shared many sweet Halloween treats in the past but never a savory one! This Halloween meatloaf is all things gross and disturbing and is perfect for a creepy Halloween dinner!

    Why This Recipe Works:

    • Flavorful: Uses a classic meatloaf base that's both hearty and delicious.
    • Simple: Made with easy-to-find ingredients and straightforward prep.
    • Festive: The creepy foot shape adds the perfect spooky touch for Halloween.
    • Customizable: Easily adjust the seasonings, fillings, or toppings to suit your taste.

    What You Need for Feetloaf

    • Ground Beef: I like to use an 80/20 ground beef mix.
    • White Onion: Both diced for the meatloaf and larger pieces shaped like toenails.
    • Italian Bread Crumbs: You can use plain panko crumbs instead, but add some Italian seasoning if so.
    • Worcestershire Sauce: This adds so much tasty flavor!

Sauce: The sauce is rich and flavorful, made with just a few simple ingredients. A blend of ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and spices creates the perfect sweet and tangy finish.

In the past, I've shared everything from Halloween cupcakes and cauldron cocktails to Halloween popcorn balls and spiderweb brownies, but this recipe is the weirdest!

Good Rancher's reached out to me and wondered if I could do a Halloween recipe using their meat. I love working with Good Ranchers because their meat is top tier quality and the company as a whole is incredible.

You can get your own box of delicious ground beef, chicken, pork, and seafood here.

    1. Step 5: Once the meatloaf is baked add a little of the sauce around the ankle as "blood" and bake for another 5 minutes to set the glaze. Reserve the remaining sauce for when it's time to eat.

    Tips for the Best Feetloaf

    • When shaping the feet, start with shaping the foot and ankle, then shape the toes.
    • Carefully transfer baked Feetloaf to a serving platter or cutting board and surround with bread crumbs or fresh parsley to mimic dirt and grass.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Meatloaf Temp When Done?

Meat loaf should be at an internal temperature of 160ยฐF when it is fully cooked. I like using a thermometer like this to check!

    How to Decorate Feetloaf?

The Feetloaf is gross as it is, but to take it to the next level, you can add some gummy worms after it's baked, crush up some toasted dark rye bread as soil, and add some herbs as grass! Or serve with some sour cream mashed potatoes dyed green.

    How to Store Leftover Feetloaf?

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

How Long Does Leftover Feetloaf Last?

Eat leftovers within 3-4 days of baking.

What to Serve with Halloween Meatloaf?

Bacon maple brussel sprouts, green bean casserole with cream cheese, and some tasty sweet potato rolls will taste great.ย  If you want more Halloween-themed options, I'd look for mummy-wrapped hot dogs, monster hamburger sliders, or maybe some spider pizzas.
