Cilantro lime sauce is great on all types of tacos! Fish, Steak, Chicken, Shrimp!
This lime cilantro sauce is not only easy to make but extremely delicious! I love to put it on all tacos but one of my favorite sauce meat taco combos is this sauce with my tri tip tacos! YUM!
How to make cilantro lime sauce:
- Add all ingredients to food processor.
- Process.
- Place on tacos.
- Enjoy!
I like to use this recipe when I want something a little different from a normal salsa. Don’t get me wrong- I love my easy salsa verde and my mango salsa, but this not only goes well with those but can add great flavor to a taco all by itself!

Cilantro Lime Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 jalapeno seeds removed
- 1 tbs garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Zest from 2 limes
- 2 tbs lime juice
Instructions
How to make cilantro lime sauce:
- Combine all ingredients in a high powered blender or food processor. Blend until well combined.
- If you have time, allow this to sit in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to allow all the spices to meld together.
- Enjoy!

Hi there, just made your cilantro lime sauce, tastes great. My sauce does have a green color, maybe I prossest the cilantro too long. Will make again. Great for the leftover tri tip. Thank you so much
