How to melt candy melts?
I like to melt 1 cup of candy melts with 1 tbs coconut oil or shortening at a time. Heat for 30 seconds at 50% power, stir, repeat until melted.
If the candy melts are still too thick add more coconut oil 1 teaspoon at a time until you get your desired consistency.

Notes
- One 12 oz bag of candy melts will cover almost entire container of Oreos. The exact amount will vary depending on how much coconut oil you used to thin the candy melts.
- Instead of the food gel you could pipe on black frosting. You can make black frosting my adding black food gel to my dark chocolate frosting recipe.
