These cereal bars are so delicious and fun- perfect for a homemade cereal bar!

Once I got my bakery-style homemade rice crispy treat recipe fine-tuned I knew creating the best Cinnamon Toast Treat would be next!

    Why This Recipe Works

Delicious: Bursting with cinnamon flavor- your favorite cereal is now your favorite dessert! They smell so amazing when you make them itโ€™s hard to wait to let them cool!

Simple: 3 Ingredients is all it takes to make these amazing bars!

Gooey: Making sure to melt everything over low heat leads to chewy gooey goodness!

    What Goes Into This Recipe?

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal: You can use any type of cinnamon toast crunch cereal you want! Name brand, off-brand, other types (like French Toast or loaded!)

Mini Marshmallows: I prefer mini marshmallows when making any type of cereal bar. They melt much quicker and more evenly.

Butter: I typically use unsalted but salted will work fine too.

    Pro Tip:

When stirring the marshmallows into the cereal try to do it gently so you don't break the Cinnamon Toast Crunch into a bunch of tiny pieces.

    Frequently Asked Questions:

Why Did My Cereal Bars Turn Out Brittle?

This typically happens if you melt the marshmallows to fast over too high of heat. (Iโ€™ve done this too many times so I know!)
For the best gooey marshmallow cereal bars, be patient and melt everything over low heat.

Are Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars Healthy?

Like all food, and especially desserts like these, they are best eaten in moderation! A treat isn't bad every now and then.

    How To Store Cereal Bars?

Store any leftovers in an airtight contain at room temperature and eat within for 4 days for optimal freshness.

Sometimes I like to give these bars as gifts! Put a few bars into tall clear goodie bags and it's happy gifting!

    • Addition: Throw in some extra mini marshmallows with the cereal for fun marshmallows in every bite!
    • Storage: Store bars in an air-tight container at room temperature.ย

I made these today and they turned out great! I microwave my butter until melted about2 minutes, then add the marshmallows turning to coat then microwave another 2 minutes stirring after 1 minute then add the cereal turning to coat well. I found if you run water over your hands then press the cereal it doesnโ€™t stick to your hands ๐Ÿ˜Š
