Variations
- Peppermint Twist: Stir in crushed candy canes and Andes Mints for a minty holiday flavor.
- Caramel Drizzle: Add caramel chips for extra richness.
- Nutty Mix: Toss in roasted almonds or pecans for crunch.
- Themed Popcorn Bags: Portion into clear treat bags tied with ribbon for an easy homemade gift.
Expert Tips
Use Fresh Popcorn: Stale popcorn won't hold the toppings well.
Remove Unpopped Kernels from Popcorn: Place the popped corn on a cooling rack and let the kernels fall through. It's that easy!
Don't Overheat the Chocolate: Melt slowly to avoid seizing or clumping.
Work Quickly: Mix toppings before the chocolate sets.
Cool Completely: Let the popcorn harden before breaking apart for the best texture.

I have not previously posted this question. I want to make your buffalo popcorn . I looked at some of your other popcorn recipes but all are same. You say use 3 bags of popcorn but not which size??
Lisa says
What a great question! I use the 2.75 oz bags- for me they are the standard popcorn size bag (not a mini or low cal serving bag) but I realize that might not be standard where you are. Thank you for asking!
