Why do you have to make your own Creme de Menthe?

Many store-bought options contain alcohol. If you do buy from the store, make sure to check the ingredients to see if it has alcohol or not.

Growing up in northern California, my family would take a trip to the Disneyland castle every couple of years. Actually, they still do, and I usually try to find a way to go too!

We love the park and have so many wonderful memories there. One of our favorite place to take a relax at Disneyland is the New Orleans Square, where we get yummy Disneyland -shaped beignets and refreshing mint juleps!

This drink is perfect for a fun smoked ribeye dinner, or just to keep in the fridge for when you want a cool refreshing drink. Even if youโ€™ve never been to Disneyland, you wonโ€™t want to miss this!

    Notes

    Tips and Tricks
    • You can buy Crรจme de Menthe syrup from your grocery store if you donโ€™t want to make it. It is found near the alcohol/liquor section. Just make sure to buy a non-alcoholic version for this recipe.
    • I like to use club soda for half of my water because I love the carbonation, but it isnโ€™t necessary for the drink. If not using carbonated water use plain water instead.
    • This drink is extra refreshing if itโ€™s nice and cold so I like to add lots of ice!
    • There are many recipes for a copycat mint julep online and we all use similar ingredients but have different ratios!

Its 5 cups of each- you can use just plain water for a total of 10 cups of water but I like to use 5 cups of club soda for some carbonation.

This looks so refreshing! I love a good mint julep, but I can't drink bourbon so I am totally in love with this idea! Plus I love to serve non-alcoholic drinks at parties so everyone can have some.
