  • 1 bunch parsley

Instructions

  • Rinse the parsley under water and then pat dry.

  • Try to align the parsley so the stems are all facing the same direction, leaving the leave tops all in a bunch.

  • Twist the head of the parsley bunch off of the stems or use a knife to separate the leafy head from the stems.

  • The stems are the parts that don’t have leaves on them, they are thicker, and are typically discarded or used for making broths.

  • Chop the parsley to your desired consistency. Start as the top of the parsley bunch and with a rocking motion, chop the parsley from top to bottom, then from side to side.

  • While chopping I like to pull out bigger pieces of the stems that may be part of the top portion of the bunch.
