Instructions
Rinse the parsley under water and then pat dry.
1 bunch parsley
Try to align the parsley so the stems are all facing the same direction, leaving the leave tops all in a bunch.
Twist the head of the parsley bunch off of the stems or use a knife to separate the leafy head from the stems.
The stems are the parts that don’t have leaves on them, they are thicker, and are typically discarded or used for making broths.
Chop the parsley to your desired consistency. Start as the top of the parsley bunch and with a rocking motion, chop the parsley from top to bottom, then from side to side.

Tips and Tricks
While chopping I like to pull out bigger pieces of the stems that may be part of the top portion of the bunch.
Use a sharp knife to chop parsley, just make sure to practice safe knife skills and don't cut your self.
