Ingredients
12ozbag of dark chocolate candy melts*
1lbsstrawberries
Sprinklesoptional
White or milk chocolate candy meltsoptional- for drizzle
Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Rinse and dry completely the strawberries, removing any that aren’t good. Water isn’t good for chocolate so make sure to dry all of it off.
1 lbs strawberries
In a microwave safe dish melt your chocolate candy melts (12 oz dark chocolate candy melts). Make sure to turn your microwave to 50% power, microwave for 30 secs, stir and repeat until melted. This will take around 1-2 minutes.
12 oz bag of dark chocolate candy melts*
Dip your strawberries in the melted chocolate. It helps to hold the strawberry by the green leaves, dip and swirl. Let any excess chocolate drip off and you can even scrape the bottom side (the side that will be sitting on the parchment paper) on the edge of the bowl.
Place strawberries on prepared baking sheet and allow to set up. If you are putting sprinkles on you can sprinkle them on now- before the chocolate hardens.
Sprinkles
If you want to drizzle with white candy melts, allow the dipped strawberries to set up, melt your white candy melts in the same way you melted the chocolate candy melts. Then place the melted white candy melts in a piping bag or a ziploc bag and cut the tip off to make a small hole. Then drizzle the strawberries.

Tips and Tricks
*I used Ghirardelli brand but you can use Wilton or Merckens candy melts too. You can use any type of candy melts you want (pink, white, milk chocolate, etc) and almond bark too.
If you want to use chocolate chips you have to temper the chocolate so it will set up hard after melting.
Turning the power on the microwave to 50% will help prevent the candy melts from seizing/burning.
Additional toppings like crushed Oreos, crushed M&Ms, chopped peanuts, and toasted coconut are all tasty toppings too.
