Ingredients
1lbchicken breastboneless skinless (4 small chicken breasts or 2 large chicken breasts)
1tbsground black pepper
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonpaprika
½teaspoonsalt
2tbsolive oil
Instructions
Preheat smoker to 225°F.
Mix together seasoning in a small bowl.
Pat chicken breast dry with a paper towel.
Coat chicken breasts with olive oil, then coat with seasoning mixture.
Smoke chicken until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached, typically, 2-3 hours depending on the thickness of your chicken breasts. There is no need to flip the chicken as it smokes.
Once your chicken reaches 165°F, remove from smoker and allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing to help retain the juices.

Tips and Tricks
The thickness of your chicken breasts will determine how long it takes to cook.
If the chicken breasts are thin then it takes ~2hrs to smoke, thicker chicken breasts ~3 hrs.
