Remove the rind by either carefully slicing in between the rind and the flesh of the cantaloupe or by cutting the quarter into wedges and cutting the rind off each piece (slower but safer).*
Once the rind is separate from the fruit you can enjoy as is or cut into squares.

Tips and Tricks
It’s best to wash your cantaloupe before cutting.
Always be careful when using a knife.
You can also remove the rind of the entire cantaloupe by first cutting off a small portion of the cantaloupe to great a flat surface. Then slicing off the rind similar to how a pineapples prickly outer part is cut off. Then cut in half, scoop out the midd and cut up as normal.
